CREEC’s Regional Testing and Knowledge Centre (RTKC) team has begun training officials from SNV-RD Congo about how operate a stove testing laboratory.The training team that is headed by Agnes Naluwagga, the centre coordinator and Jackson Mutegeki, the lead trainer, will be educating participants about stove testing procedures, data management and general laboratory responsibilities through tutorial, interactive presentations and practical sessions carried out from 1st to 12th of July.
Participants who came from DR Congo are led by Xavier Castellvi and Laetitia Bosange, both renewable energy advisors of SNV-RD Congo for West and Central Africa.Currently, the team is attending an interactive session about an introduction to the Portable Emissions Monitoring System (PEMS) presented by Sheila Nantambi, CREEC’s research executive.
